FAQs

Q: Where are you located?

A: Cayce, SC (Formerly located in Warner Robins, GA).

Q: Which languages are spoken at this office? 

A: English and/or Spanish, as appropriate for the client. 

Q: Which SC insurance plans do you accept?

A: Absolute Total Care, Babynet, First Choice-Select Health, Humana Healthy Horizons, Molina, SC Medicaid, and Tricare. BCBS and Healthy Blue are also pending.


Additional insurance plans may offer out-of-network benefits, depending on your plan. If your insurance is not yet accepted, a superbill may be provided for you to submit to your insurance. 

Q: How do I know whether my child has a communication disorder?

A: The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will determine the diagnosis based on clinical observation, evaluation, and parent report. 

Q: Where does the session take place?

A: Our office in Cayce, SC, or teletherapy if you are located in SC or GA, provided your plan covers teletherapy.

A: How do I start services?

Q: The first step is to request a prescription from your Pediatrician's office for Speech and Language evaluation and treatment which can be faxed to 803-888-5029. You may send an email to info@talkwithmespeechtherapy.com or call 803-200-2414 to request access to the secure patient portal where all electronic intake forms may be completed within 14 days of receiving the link. 

Q: Which GA insurance plans do you accept?

A: In Georgia where telehealth is available, the following plans are in-network: Tricare, GA Medicaid, Amerigroup, Caresource, Peach State, Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield, and private pay.  Additional insurance plans may offer you out-of-network benefits, depending on your plan. If your insurance is not accepted, a superbill can be created for you to submit to your insurance. 

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: Please call to cancel or reschedule no less than 72 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment (except for emergencies). Frequent no-shows and/or cancellations may result in removal from the schedule to allow others on the waiting list access to therapy.
